This Diploma program is designed to graduate health care assistants necessary to meet their increasing demands in the health care system in the Kingdom. The students are enrolled in a program for thirty weeks of theoretical and practical training.

Program, objectives

The program aims to train and develop efficient and dedicated cadres of national Saudis in the field of health care assistant. These graduates will contribute to the development and promotion of medical services and play an effective role in the overall health care system of any hospital or medical centers. These graduates will facilitate verbal communications and services with the patients and be of great help to them during their stay in the hospitals.

Practical training

The students begin the practical training for one full semester in participating hospitals and medical centers. The students are posted by rotation in different departments so that they are exposed to a wide spectrum of activity of the patients. This semester represents their residence training.

Job responsibilities

After successful completion of the required courses, the graduate from this program will be able to accomplish his responsibilities as a Health Care Assistant.
