Many people encounter accidents and serious injuries everyday. The primary and emergency care, which they provide immediately, saves lives and prevents fatal complications. Furthermore, the emergency services are considered to be one of the indicators of development of any nations.

Program objectives

The program aims to contribute to the development and promotion of the emergency medical services in Saudi Arabia through the preparation of efficient and specialized cadre of medical technicians. Graduates of this program are capable of promptly helping victims of accidents and prevent the deterioration of their conditions, disabilities and death as a result of the injuries.

Training Program

After the first semester of English language, the student study for the duration of four semesters the theoretical background and practical training. The students start the practical training for one full semester in the appropriate participating hospitals and Saudi Red Crescent. The students will be posted on rotation basis in several specialty departments so that they are exposed to a wide spectrum of clinical situations.

Job responsibilities after Graduation

After successful completion, the graduate from this program will be able to accomplish his responsibility and present the necessary medical care at the proper time. Furthermore, he will be capable to apply the updated scientific clinical skills and sophisticated technologies in the field of Medical Emergency.
