This diploma program is designed to cater to the increasing demand of technicians in Occupational Health and Safety. These technicians will be acquainted with the knowledge to deal with all the problems that might be encountered at the work place or in the industrial plants.

Program Objectives

The program aims to train and develop efficient and dedicated cadres of national Saudis in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. The graduates will contribute to the development and promotion of occupational health and safety  services at work places, and play an effective role in the over all health care system of the Kingdom.

Practical training

The students begin the practical training for one full semester in participating industrial plants and hospitals and medical centers. The students are posted by rotation in different departments so that they are exposed to a wide spectrum of Occupational Health and Safety matters.

Job responsibilities after graduation

After successful completion of the required courses of study and training, the graduate from this program will be able to accomplish his responsibilities of Occupational Health and Safety in the work place and Industrial plants. Furthermore, he will be capable to apply updated technologies and recent developments in this field.
