With the development of natural sciences that is witnessed in the world, the physical therapy is considered to be among one of the most important field of natural sciences. In the last two decades, programs of physical therapy have been developed in great scales and many health sectors in the kingdom are in desperate need of qualified persons in this field.

Program Objectives

The main objectives are:

To train and develop efficient and dedicated cadres of national Saudis in Physical Therapy.

To contribute to the development and promotion of medical services in Saudi Arabia, and play an effective role in the over-all health care system.

Practical Training

Students start the practical training for one full semester in the appropriate hospitals. The students will be posted by rotation in several specialty departments so that they are exposed to a wide spectrum of clinical varieties.

Job Responsibilities After Graduation

After the successful completion, the graduate from this program will be able to accomplish his/her responsibilities and present the medical care at the proper time. Furthermore, he will be capable to apply updated scientific clinical skills and sophisticated technologies in the physical therapy.
